Madison Rogers

Madison graduated from Hungry Creek Art and Craft School in 2017 with an Advanced Diploma in Jewellery and has since developed a keen interest in formal aesthetics, this often informs her work. Formal aesthetics works as a visual language and as such Madison explores gentle manipulation to invite in and establish an ongoing dialogue with the viewer. The manipulation of line, angle, plane and surface inform where shadows and light fall on the pieces.
Madison says, "I am fascinated with the way in which one can organise volume in space so that the negative areas become just as important as the positive ones."
